1. Adani Power Q2 Results FY27
Adani Power reported strong growth in the September 2026 quarter. Its net profit increased by around 134% year-on-year to ₹6,919.45 crore, compared with ₹2,952.78 crore in the same quarter last year.
Revenue rose approximately 44.5% to ₹19,438.68 crore from ₹13,456.84 crore. The results indicate substantial growth in both revenue and profit.
The company operates in the power generation business, where electricity demand, plant utilisation, power tariffs and fuel costs can influence financial performance.
For investors, the rise in revenue and profit is encouraging. However, they should also examine the sustainability of earnings, operating costs and future capacity expansion before making an investment decision.
2. Tata Motors Q2 Results FY27
Tata Motors reported a return to profitability in its July–September 2026 quarter. The reported results relate to its commercial vehicle business following the company’s restructuring.
Revenue from operations increased 41.9% to ₹23,930 crore. Net profit stood at ₹2,138 crore, compared with a loss of ₹1,021 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
The performance was supported by strong commercial vehicle demand, including medium and heavy trucks. Infrastructure spending, freight movement and fleet utilisation also supported demand.
However, rising raw material costs affected profitability. The company’s core operating margin declined to 11.7%, down 0.9 percentage points year-on-year.
The return to profit is positive, but investors should also monitor operating margins and demand trends in the coming quarters.
3. Shriram Finance Q2 Results FY27
Shriram Finance reported a strong increase in quarterly profit. Its standalone revenue reached ₹13,789.42 crore, up approximately 15.8% year-on-year.
Net profit increased 58.9% to ₹3,677.03 crore from ₹2,307.18 crore a year earlier.
The company provides loans for vehicles, businesses and other retail financing needs. Its earnings depend on loan growth, interest income, borrowing costs and its ability to collect repayments.
The profit growth is encouraging, but investors should also monitor loan quality. Reports highlighted rising overdue loans in the company’s gold loan portfolio, which remains an important risk to watch.
EBITDA is not generally used as the main performance measure for a lending company. Net profit, net interest income, assets under management and bad-loan indicators are more useful measures. StockWatch
4. IndusInd Bank Q2 Results FY27
IndusInd Bank reported a significant improvement in profitability. Its standalone net profit reached ₹1,176 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with a net loss of ₹445 crore in the same quarter last year.
Net interest income (NII), which represents the difference between interest earned and interest paid, increased 4% to ₹4,569 crore.
The return to profit is a positive development for the bank. However, investors should also examine bad loans, provisions, deposit growth and net interest margins to understand whether the improvement can continue.
EBITDA is not an appropriate headline measure for a bank. Net profit, NII and asset quality provide a clearer picture of its financial performance.
5. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Q2 Results FY27
Bharat Petroleum Corporation is a major player in India’s oil refining and fuel marketing industry. Its financial performance can change with crude oil prices, refining margins, fuel marketing margins and inventory gains or losses.
However, the available report data did not establish verified Q2 FY27 revenue, net profit and EBITDA figures for BPCL as of October 23, 2026.
Investors should check the company’s official exchange filing before using these numbers in a financial comparison. Publishing estimates as confirmed results could mislead readers.

The available Q2 FY27 results show strong profit growth at Adani Power and Shriram Finance, a return to profitability at Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle business, and an improvement at IndusInd Bank.
However, revenue growth alone does not determine whether a stock is attractive. Investors should compare operating margins, cash flow, debt, asset quality and valuation before making investment decisions.
